9:30 to 11:00am – Beginner Youth (8-13 yrs)
11:15am to 12:45pm – Intermediate Ballet & Pointe (ages 10+)
1:00 to 2:30pm – Advanced Ballet & Pointe (ages 14+)
2:45 to 4:00pm – Callbacks (Intermediate/Advanced)
4:15 to 5:15pm – Teens 14+ & Adults (all levels, dancers & actors)

Last minute spots are available in our Youth Compa Last minute spots are available in our Youth Company and Beginner Pointe Summer Intensives this week!! TEXT US at 250-764-2222 to register your dancer. The Youth Company is a pre-professional program for dancers ages 8-12 who are looking for high level ballet training and performing opportunities! This Summer Intensive may be used as an audition into the annual program. Our Beginner Pointe* session is for those dancers brand new to pointe work. Dancers will receive a solid foundation, guided by our Artistic Director, Tanya Vadurova. They will learn correct technique and strength-building exercises for safe and graceful pointe work. (*Dancers must be approved or assessed to join Beginner Pointe). Ms Tanya has been busy this Summer working privately with students from Vernon, Summerland, Penticton, Florida and even Prague! ⠀ With international experience as a dancer, teacher and choreographer (and elite training from Canada’s National Ballet School) Ms Tanya brings a rare depth of knowledge and expertise in safe classical ballet technique to every student she teaches. ⠀ 📸 Pictured: Nika, a visiting student from Prague (First International Ballet School) working closely with Ms Tanya in a private lesson.
Introducing The Vadurova Dance Academy Method Assi Introducing The Vadurova Dance Academy Method Assistant and Teacher Training Courses! Our next course session starts TOMORROW Monday July 21st! Spots still available. Become trained and certified in the VDA method of any level of MDC Ballet as an assistant or teacher for pre-school levels all the way to professional. Email us to inquire about how to register and more details on cost, expectations, etc. The Vadurova Dance Academy (VDA) Assistant and Teacher Training Courses are rooted in a deep knowledge of anatomically safe and professional ballet technique and designed to methodically progress through each level (recreational to pre-professional). The course also includes: - awareness of how to use teaching language - how to carefully select positive wording - being able to work with all body types - preparing your lessons - building up and breaking down a new step - knowing how to select and use your music - provide unique, safe, and effective hands-on correction techniques.
